Counter billing and stock

Counter billing that keeps your stock honest.

Ring up a sale, take a return, receive a purchase, and the stock on the shelf matches the stock on the screen. No spreadsheet behind the till and no month-end recount just to find out what went missing.

We set it up on your shop's own box and send one link. Nothing to install on the counter machine.

01

The till and the stock live in different books.

The bill is written in one place, the stock is counted in another, and what a customer owes lives in a notebook. Nobody is lying, but three records that never meet cannot produce an honest stock figure.

Stock drifts after returns

A returned item is credited at the counter and quietly never goes back on the shelf, so the count is wrong from that day on.

Udhaar on paper

Customer balances written by hand are impossible to age, so collections depend on remembering who was spoken to.

Purchases never match

Goods arrive, the bill arrives later, and the stock figure is corrected by guesswork at the end of the month.

02

How it works at the till

Fast enough for a queue, strict enough that the stock figure survives the month.

1

Bill at the counter

Scan or search, pick the customer, take cash, card or udhaar. The bill prints and the stock moves in the same action.

2

Take returns and purchases properly

A return creates a credit note and puts the item back. A supplier purchase puts stock in against a supplier balance.

3

Close the day

Cash in the drawer against cash billed, stock movements for the day, and what was sold on credit.

03

What is in the box

Invoices and credit notes

Numbered bills and credit notes, with the original sale left exactly as it was.

Barcode search at the counter

Scan or type part of a name; the till stays usable during a rush.

Supplier purchases

Goods received against a supplier, with the balance owed tracked per supplier.

Expiry on stock lines

Expiry dates recorded where they matter, so near-date stock can be cleared before it is written off.

Customer ledger for udhaar

Credit sales age against the customer, not against a page in a notebook.

Reports and day close

Sales, returns, stock and credit for the day, printable and exportable.

04

How it is sold

One installation per shop, quoted by counter and stock size. We set it up, hand over one link, and your staff use it the same day.

Quoted per shop

One shop, one instance, one book. No per-seat billing for staff who only take bills.

Set up for you

We stand the instance up on your box and send one link. Your counter machine needs a browser, nothing else.

Contact for setup

Tell us the shop size and what you sell, and we will quote and set it up without a terminal in sight.

05

Questions, answered.

Do we need internet all day?

The instance runs on your own box on your own network, so the counter keeps working the way your shop works.

Can staff see the accounts?

Roles are enforced on the server. A counter user bills; the owner sees the reports.

What about returns of items bought last week?

Find the original bill, return the line, and a credit note is issued while the stock goes back in. The original bill is untouched.

Does it do purchases and suppliers?

Yes. Goods received against a supplier, with what is owed tracked per supplier.

Can I export the data?

Yes, sales, stock and ledger exports are yours. It is your shop's data.

Try it on one counter for a day.

Send us your price list and we will load a demo shop so you can ring up a sale, take a return and watch the stock follow.
